HC Style Guide: Martha Suarez Gowns With Our Accessory Pairings For The Modern Bride

We're here with another edition of our Hushed Commotion style guide with one of our favorite bridal designers Martha Suarez. She creates non-traditional gowns for every kind of bride. Her collections feature pieces for a civil wedding, rehearsal dinner, destination wedding, or any other kind of bride. We love her unique styles so we created a guide that pairs her gowns with our accessories.

First up we are pairing accessories with the lovely Gabrielle gown. This stunning gown has an understated appeal with an effortless off-the-shoulder silhouette in silk hammered satin. This style sits on the waist, hugs the hips and flares out into a full skirt for a luxurious look.

The creamy ivory tone of this gown calls for mother of pearl. We love a cinched waist and this silhouette calls for a good belt. We love the Harriet belt with this gown paired with our Hudson earrings for a sparkling touch.

Next up we have the ultra chic Amelia Blazer dress.

The slightly oversized cocktail length dress blazer features a plunging V- neckline, a collar and lapel that feature a french holographic lace. It comes with a custom leather belt with gold hardware and also features pearl buttons. We LOVE this look and honestly it doesn't need much. We'd keep the accessories simple: stud earrings like our Collins earrings or go a bit bolder with our lovely Maren earrings.

Now we have another full length stunner of a gown. Meet the Alba gown with a vintage inspired heavy silk crepe fabric featuring a V-neckline. Its elegantly draped bodice features a french holographic 3/4 lace sleeve and neckline detail. We say play up the vintage vibes with this gorgeous gown. Pair it with delicate and chic earrings like our Mia earrings which are available in multiple different materials. Then go for a hair comb that has a timeless elegant feel like our Zuri comb.

Now we have our mid-length stunner the Giselle dress. She's designed for a modern bride with nods to classic features. This midi dress is cut from a french holographic lace and has a leather bustier and straps. The Giselle dress is fully lined, has a front slit and a flattering figure-hugging fit with boning in the bodice. You can have a lot of fun accessorizing this look. We say go for a classic look like our Ellie belt with this dress. Then play it up and have some fun with your earrings. We vote for our Arden earrings that feel timeless yet fresh.

Next up we have a fun look for any bridal event. A versatile combination of the Isabelle Peplum top and the Camille skirt. The Isabelle top is made from a beautiful English bouclé has a fully boned bodice and is form-fitting. The Camille maxi skirt is crafted in a heavy silk crepe with a front slit dotted with buttons from waist to slit opening. There is a lot going on with this look (in a good way) so we say keep it simple! Earrings are a must and we'd go for something surprising like the Sasha earring. Play it up with some hair pins like the Darla pins for a subtle yet fun hair accessory.

Last but not least we have the Helene Cami and Samantha Skirt a romantic sophisticated choice for your wedding day whether it's a party of hundreds or just you two. The silk hammered satin features double spaghetti strap details and a criss cross at the back. The cami has a tie front detail and is fully lined. The maxi-pleated tulle skirt is accented with a wool yoke. This dress has a beautiful movement to it. We would love to see this dressed up even more with our Channing hair chain. Pop on a bold and unexpected pair of earrings like our Landon earrings.

We hope these styling tips helped you get inspired for your upcoming wedding or any events! Sometimes it can be hard to piece the whole look together and that's what we are here for. Accessories can tie everything together for a chic seamless look everyone will be in awe over.
